Launcher settings, tray, and startup

The Settings view controls how the launcher behaves on your desktop: where it goes when you close it, whether it starts with Windows, and how it handles updates and storage. If you are setting it up for the first time, start with install and update the Crucible launcher.

The launcher uses the Windows system tray. Turn on minimize to tray and close to tray to tuck it into the tray instead of the taskbar or quitting, and bring it back from the tray whenever you need it.

Turn on launch on startup and the launcher opens when you sign in to Windows, ready in the tray. Leave it off to keep your startup clean.

The manual Check for updates here covers both the launcher and every installed app at once. The storage tools show how much disk your apps and data use and let you clear cached temp files. For installing and updating individual apps, see install and manage your apps.
